Pros: Friendly staff.
Cons: Better disclosure regarding required coverage. Would have also rented a vehicle with more horse power given that I explored way outside of the city.

Cons: Alamo did not honor the vehicle level i had reserved. I reserved a Kia Rio or equivalent and when i got there i was offered a Kia Picanto an told me that they were the same level. DefÃnete Kia Picanto is a smaller vehicle. They told me that if i wanted a Kia Rio i had to pay an upgrade. My reservation clearly said Kia Rio and i show my reservation. I didn't pick up my vehicle and had to rent a vehicle with another agency. It was a very bad experience and had to spend more than what i had planned. I saw other custommers having the same issues, not a good practice.

Very friendly staff, but not so good cars
Pros: Staff was very friendly and prompt to help me
Cons: they did not have the type of car I requested so they upgraded me to a minivan, I was told that the insurance that KAYAK offered was not good enough for them and that I had to take their insurance.

Pros: May be the drop off personnel was a lot friendlier than pick up. I was Not aware of all the fees they make you pay in order to rent..That was only revealed at the counter at pick up time (In a very imperative manner). The airport and the car rental lot is at a considerably long distance. That information was not revealed until pick up time.

I'm bought in on a versa
Pros: De car was clean it was bit of a small mission to find it. Love the car was ready for us it very fuel efficient.
Cons: Only thing the passenger side rear door the lining kept coming of an a versatile to me is not a full size car.

This office was good, but the website gave an incorrect price, which was not super cool. Nothing wrong with the particular office, just the whole website.
Pros: Yes. But the charge way to much on place! The have hidden charges, I wasn't happy about that! I paid a lot more than I expected.
Cons: Be prepared to be charged your credit card with $700 as a deposit even if you already bought an insurance here!
Pros: Staff was very friendly and thorough in inspecting the car, telling us where the emergency equipment was, fluids in the car, etc.
Cons: The security deposit was really high at $1600, likely because it was in a different country and a bigger vehicle. I was also not allowed to decline the insurance. There was a mandatory insurance of $13.99/day. The other option that coverage everything was $32/day.

Pros: Quick way to make the reservation in my country. I had an emergency need to rent a car and I was surprised it was better experience than expected

Cons: Did not have available the type of vehicle I had reserved through Kayak. They offered me a lower class vehicle for the same price. They wanted force me to buy a local insurance policy, advising me that Allianz insurance was not valid in El Salvador. I was very angry and disappointed and did not take the car.

Pros: I just liked the staff was available and ready on time both during pick up and drop off.
Cons: The car they gave me was a Hyundai smal car with mechanic transmission. Very uncomfortable and small. I understand economic cars are economic but this was extremely below the economic average.

The car was not available and they claim they had no available cars. I was stranded
Pros: Everyone was amazing at the store, service was great and they even picked-up my car without any additional fee since I was feeling sick and couldn't drive the car there.
Cons: Car was in really poor shape, locks didn't work correctly. Could hardly get out of the passengers side, it took about 4-5 tries every time to open the door. Dangerous if we had ever gotten into an accident.

Won't rent from national ever again!
Pros: Nothing! Worst experience ever
Cons: Rep tried forcing me to buy insurance after telling her that my credit card cover insurance. After going back and forth and I finally agreed to buy insurance cause I just wanted to get it over with. The rep refused to rent me the car afterwards. On top of that, they did not have the car I had reserve wich was a minivan. Whats the point of making a reservation if you're not going to have the car you specifically reserved? Will never ever bother with national. And will not recommended to anyone.
